Your membership dues give you the following perks: Members Only pages on website; Acorn Newsletter via email or website; Advanced Notice of upcoming events; Participation in Hall of Honor Nominations; Eligibility for Board of Directors; and Access to Alumni contact information.  Additionally, your dues help pay the operating expenses of the Alumni Association, not the least of which is the cost of printing and mailing the quarterly Acorn newsletter.  Further, the funds earned through dues and donations are also used to fund special projects, alumni events, and to help supply the school and students with needed equipment and materials they might not otherwise be able to obtain, and which are not supplied by the DISD budget.
